Ciara Zoe is a multidisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles, CA. Their work often explores Identity, Otherness, and the power of Community through an experimental approach.
Primarily a Director and Photographer, Zoe’s artistic practice also spans Writing, Illustration, Curation and Design. Her adventures in directing have been video work for Apple, photographing and directing Nike LA’s Redefine Sports campaign, working with the Huntington Museum of Art to create a 16mm short film for their Borderlands exhibition, developing a short for Frieze Art Fair’s Los Angeles Film Award, directing behind the scenes work for the NBA finals, and realizing a short film for the Academy Museum’s Shifting Perspectives: Vertical Cinema exhibition.
In addition to the above, Ciara adores releasing vulnerable writing of her personal experiences, designing treatment decks, painting, experimenting with sound, and inducing laughter.
